The Insanity of the Chicago Exposition
12,000-horsepower AC polyphase generators was what used to light the Chicago Exposition.
So, if we know that each Horsepower consumes 750 watts roughly we times 750 Watts by 12.000! and get each generator is almost 9 MegaWatts! And that's just one generator! How many did they have? I don't' know.
All I know is something doesn't add up.
