I think Trump's pro-gay attitude was more of an asset in 2016 than it seems now. It's just that the constellation of issues has changed.

The woman has decided to gender-transition right now, and the Mayo Clinic is giving her testosterone shots even while she is breastfeeding her child, because a transgender's whims comes before anything else, including the health of an infant she just delivered.
